Volunteer

Eagle Eye relies on the hard work and dedication of its volunteers to bolster its efforts to provide hands-on exploratory learning on the environment and career bridging to natural resource fields for urban youth and needs your help!  There are opportunities to be a one-time volunteer or participate in ongoing projects.

Short term projects:

• Transcribing video/audio of interviews with youth and youth workers involved in Eagle Eye’s programs
• Scanning documents to create electronic files
• Updating Eagle Eye’s brochures with correct mailing and web address

Ongoing projects:

• Assist with processing donations
• Become part of a time to develop and implement strategies to acquire corporate donations
• Collect and report data about Eagle Eye’s website
• Work on Eagle Eye’s media relations, including developing marketing strategies and writing/distributing press releases
• Write a program manual for Eagle Eye’s Green Industry Career Pathway program
• Revise and print manuals for Eagle Eye’s Learn About ForestsTM and Stewardship programs

Our partners make our programs possible and with the support of natural resource professionals and youth organizations, we can provide access to low cost programs to urban youth.
